The showcase contains synthetic application events. Log in with the shared public viewer account:

These credentials are deliberately public and grant read-only demo access.
Try a search
Search level : "error" to inspect failures. Clear the query to return to all events. Filter by service and inspect attributes.trace_id to follow related checkout events across services.
Trace IDs correlate log events. This is not an instrumented APM application. All data is synthetic.
Access boundaries
The shared viewer can read Dashboard and Discover. It cannot ingest events, change saved objects, administer users, or delete data. Elasticsearch and Logstash remain private.
The showcase has shared resource and request limits. If it is busy, wait and reload. Use Quickstart to create your own stack for ingestion and configuration work.
